BACI Plus.

Baciplus is a selective biological insecticide for the control of lepidopteran larvaes. It is composed by a bacterium called “Bacillus thuringiensis” and acts by ingestion of the treated foliage. During its sporulation phase it produces crystalline forms that contain Cry proteins. When consumed and solubilized in the intestine of the insect, protoxins are released and cause the death of the insect (they must be processed by enzymes in the intestine to generate the active toxins that cause the death of the larvae).
